Privacy Policy
Last updated August 2026
This policy explains how PsychPanda handles personal data collected through the booking platform. PsychPanda is the data controller.
What we collect
- When you book: your name and email address; the service, date and time booked; the amount paid and payment status; and any note you add for your tutor.
- If you are a tutor, examiner or admin: your name, email address and role, and the availability and sessions you are assigned to.
- Automatically: basic technical data such as IP address and browser type, used for security and to prevent abuse.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To provide and manage bookings, sessions and masterclasses —performance of a contract.
- To send booking confirmations, joining links and reminders —performance of a contract.
- To keep records of payments and to prevent fraud and abuse —legitimate interests and legal obligation.
Who we share it with
We use the following processors, only as needed to run the service:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Resend — sending transactional email.
- Zoom — hosting online sessions.
- Supabase — database and authentication hosting.
- Vercel — application hosting.
We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising. Your name may be shared with the tutor or examiner assigned to your session so they can prepare; actors in mock exams are not told your name.
How long we keep it
Booking and payment records are kept for up to 7 years for accounting and tax purposes. Other personal data is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above, then deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, or to complain, contact us at psychpanda.com/about-us. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; the current version is always published here.
